Kings main thesis in writing the Birmingham Letter is that racial discrimination and hatred to the black community is due to the optimism of the white community. I agree with his main points that King had presented in the essay. Everyone should gain equal rights in every criteria including socially, politically, and religiously. This is what King wanted for everyone. He wanted to peacefully admit every race and gender together as one edict not multiple societies like how it was. King argued the freedom and equality for everyone in the United States and that there shouldnt be a reason to preconception to each other.
